Commercial Cooking Equipment Cleaning
If you’re running a commercial kitchen, you’ll know exactly how hard it is to keep your cooking equipment clean. They’re in constant use, meaning that they quickly build up with grease, carbon and other contaminants depending on what type of equipment you have.
What you may not be as familiar with are the downsides of not keeping your cooking equipment clean. From equipment fires or failures, poor energy efficiency and food that doesn’t taste exactly as you would like it to, a lot of the drawbacks aren’t entirely obvious.
One thing you do not need when you are running a fast paced restaurant is for your kitchen to be closed down due to fires or below expected cooking conditions leaving you with a restaurant with no future income, spiralling expenditures and a bad reputation for general housekeeping so why don't you let the experts help?
At Coming Clean, we have an intimate knowledge of the standards you are required to meet for your kitchen to be compliant. Through our industry leading cleaning service, we can make sure your equipment meets the necessary regulations and is thoroughly cleaned inside and out.

Our Commercial Cooking Equipment Cleaning Process
Thanks to our wealth of experience spanning more than two decades, we know how to provide an expert clean to all of your cooking equipment. Be it a six burner or steamer oven, deep fat fryers, grills or griddles, we’ve refined our entire process to ensure you’re always receiving a professional and highly convenient service.
First, get in touch with us to tell us a bit about your needs and the equipment you need cleaned. After this, we’ll book in a time for us to come and survey your kitchen and equipment, before giving you a quote for the clean.
After we’ve found a time that suits you, our hand picked team of cleaning professionals will come and carry out your equipment cleaning as planned. For deep cleans, this will involve detaching all removable parts, placing them in a decarbonisation solution, and then cleaning them by hand. We’ll then get to work on the remaining shell of the equipment.
Finally, we will test all of your gas and electrical equipment before wiping down, polishing and sanitising all surfaces.
We’ll schedule a follow up appointment so that we can show you the results of the clean, and make sure you’re completely satisfied with the service.

Commercial Cooking Equipment Cleaning
When you’re running a commercial kitchen, you have a responsibility to make sure that you’re operating your kitchen as safely as possible for your staff, while also protecting your customers from the dangers that can come from poor food hygiene.
To make sure that you are operating with good health and safety processes in place, there are several regulations that need to be complied with.
The Health and Safety Work Act of 1974 and The Provision and Use of Work Equipment 1998 regulations stipulate that all kitchen cooking equipment should be serviced, inspected and maintained to ensure it is fit for purpose.
We know how to help you meet all the requirements of your kitchen, and can provide you with all the necessary certification upon completion of the clean.

What our clients say
Benefits of Regular Commercial Kitchen Equipment Cleaning
There are a number of reasons why you should ensure your equipment is always kept to a good level of cleanliness, such as good hygiene, great appearance, and a longer product lifespan to name just a few.
But when that equipment is in a commercial kitchen, the benefits of getting your cooking equipment cleaned are even more stark. From improved energy efficiency and lower running costs, to a visible demonstration that you’re committed to keeping a clean kitchen, getting your cooking equipment professionally cleaned provides great returns.
FAQS
We use a variety of methods to make sure that we get even the dirtiest of cooking equipment back in good shape. These methods include putting removable appliances into a decarbonisation solution, scrubbing, scraping, wiping and sanitising as needed. Everything is cleaned by hand for a more precise finish.
Absolutely. Cooking equipment that have a build up of grease aren’t as efficient at transferring heat directly to the food, and tend to have a poorer air circulation. By cleaning your equipment and getting rid of these problems, you can save yourself from unnecessary energy wastage.
Having your kitchen professionally deep cleaned will help show due diligence and that you are taking steps to achieve the highest standards of hygiene in relation to the Food Safety Act 1990. We also provide certification for EHO purposes. We carry out full deep cleans including those ‘hard to reach’ areas that may get missed on your daily cleaning routine.
We always work around you, and will only schedule visits and cleans at a time that suits you, whether it’s early in the morning, the middle of the day, or late at night. What’s more, we also pick the size of our team carefully so that we know exactly how long the clean is going to take.
